Meeting with group 7

In this meeting we were presented with a picture lock of the film, meaning that the media team were finished with editing until after we had finished the audio. we presented them with an estimate of 1.5 – 2 weeks for us to be able to finish the audio for the film, as we were able to work simultaneously (myself on foley and music and Callum on atmos and dialogue) which they were happy with, and we agreed to keep eachother updated on any progress or problems.

Meeting with Group 5

In this meeting we handed over our audio to the media group, after finding out that this is the way that dialogue is synced, we then also explained to them about how the .AAF file types worked, before organising a second meeting for once they were happy with the footage and editing that they had done.

We also offered our assistance for if anything was wrong with the new way of working.

Meeting with Group 4

This meeting was the first meeting after filming so we organised how we were going to approach the next steps. This meeting was before we found out about the Dialogue problems from our other posts, so we had decided that once the media team had picked which scenes they wanted to use we would sync and clean the dialogue, and then giving it back to the media team to start editing. Obviously this seemed like the best approach to us before we knew that syncing dialogue wasn’t our job.

Meeting with Group 2

In this meeting we were presented with all the possible days for filming so that the producer could make a schedule that worked for everyone, we ended up deciding in the meeting that we would be able to any of the days proposed so the schedule would fall to the actors to give any days that they weren’t able to do.

We were also provided with a preliminary schedule of when and where each scene would be filmed, as the group had decided that Harlaxton Manor was where they wanted to shoot the film.
